I've chosen this hotel for you trip to Budapest because of two things: good location and Best Western chain, which is my preferred to stay around the world. Location is really good: Metro3 is around the corner, Danube embankment and Vaci ut are 3-5 minutes walk, center of Pest is 10 minutes walk. My expectation from Best Western was that... More

The misadventure started 4 months ago when I decided to go with this hotel at the expense of another one (a 4*) in the same district of Budapest. The reason was plain and simple: the BW claimed to offer smoking rooms. So after making the booking (with an international on-line wholesaler) I called the hotel to see if my requests could be... We spent a wonderful week in this quiet and cosy venue. Very well located for people aged over 60 wanting to visit the main monuments at walking distance, even in Buda. Clean and sunny rooms, well-equiped bathroom, Nice breakfast and restaurant. Very helpful staff (for instance for booking the airport shuttle or the ticket to Szchechenyi spa). We didn't try... More

Only a short walk from the shopping district, restaurants and the reception are happy to call taxis for you. We had a triple room and a double room, both excellent for the price and the large windows gave a fantastic view of Budapest snowing! Ensuite bathrooms were nice and cleaned daily, but our shower would drain properly which ended up... More

Hotel was clean and warm, staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked a twin room but ended up with a delightful two twin bedded "suite" with shared bathroom. Restaurant very pleasant. Breakfast was good in that plenty of food and plenty of variety supplied but the hot food was kept in chafing dishes with no heaters underneath and therefore... More

We spent 3 nights in this lovely, warm, spotlessly clean hotel. The staff could not do enough for us. It was very good value and food was good. it is very near all the sights and there is a lovely bar on the same street. the foyer is a little small but i believe upgrading is on the cards.definitely a... This was a simple, quaint, no frills boutique hotel just steps from most of the major sights downtown. The staff was very friendly. There is nothing special about the rooms. But it's still a good value for your money. More

Hotel is totally worths the money. First of all rooms, towels, sheets are a little bit old but they all clean and fine. Location is good enough to walk every touristic place in Budapest. Breakfast was more than enough only the place is a bit small. Staff was definitely helpful and friendly. And i totally recommend this hotel for everyone,... More

we stayed here 1/14-20/12 on recommendation of our AAA agent. i wasn't sure about the locale from maps as it looked too far out. IT WASN:T - it was perfectly located to walk to all sites in downtown as well as over to Buda to the palace and Gellert Hill. there were numerous restaurants nearby, as well as ATMs. Our... More
