Please do not stay here! This hotel was just gross. It is an old communist style huge block building and has not been upgraded probably since the 1950's - including the beds and sheets! I didn't want to even sleep in the bed because it was so gross. The bed and pillow were so uncomfortable. The hotel faces the tram... More

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful 4 night break in Budapest staying at the Tulip Inn and what a gem it turned out to be. Situated on a main road close to a Metro station, it offers a good standard of accommodation with a huge clean bedroom with a comfortable bed and large en-suite bathroom. Towels are changed... More

We did a three city tour, Prague, Budapest and Viennna. Hotel in Budapest was one of the worst I have stayed in, nearly as bad as the Grand Burstin in Folkstone. The hotel is in the one of the worst areas in the city, no restaurants, shops or entertainments anywhere close. The staff were very offhand and did not want... More

Generally the hotel was very clean and nice, prices were fare enough. We've upgraded the room to a king size bad and did late checkout. fairly not enough electricity plugs for a tech oriented couple like us (we struggled to find 2 and even disconnected one of the lamps to get our third one). the hotel is 5 minutes easy... I stayed here for one night before continuing South to Bekescsaba and Gyula. Easy to find, if you don't trust the directions and just stay on the main thoroughfare from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed dinner and breakfast, the food was average but the service was friendly and... More

We stayed here for two nights and found it very comfortable. We had a huge room with three windows at the side of the Hotel which was lovely. We had dinner in the Hotel the first evening and although the dining room was full the service was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on... More

Stayed here on 3rd and 4th Oct with Newmarket Tours. Located in a place where there is not even a single store, bar or restaurant. Thankfully a metro station in 3mt walk, which you can take to get into town if you dont want to pay high rates for the food. Room has no dryer, no kettle and no Wifi.... More

Stayed here as part of a tour, rooms clean and tidy. Good breakfast. When we stayed the weather was very warm but the air conditioning had ,been switched off even when I asked at reception it was not switched on. Rooms like a sauna with no option to open the windows as this hotel is positioned on a very very... More

The rooms were ok but they didn't impress me, kind of old fashioned. The floor had stain marks. A big plus for the breakfast, I was getting tired of the same typical continetal one. This one had some very good potatoes (Hungarian recipe), omlet (with mushrooms and simple), both boiled or fried sausages, some sort of bread fried in egg... More

I`m just home from Budapest and stayed here. It`s a no-frills hotel but supplies all your needs.Pleasant staff esp Attila and Daniel.I would use this hotel again-no complaints from me! I have read reviews for this hotel that have been less than favourable but some people are difficult to please,if you like plush and all the fancy extras you won`t like... More
