- Botel Hotel Budapest

I have never stayed in somewhere so horrible. Myself and my friend felt very vunerable staying here in the middle of nowhere. Walking down dodgy walkways to be able to get to and from the botel. And as for this hotel being anywhere near the centre of Budpest, its NOT!!! I would never stay here again and do not recommend...

stayed with a friend for four nights in sept 2011. Staff very rude, bar shutting at 10pm with nothing else around the area!! They said 10 mins to town. DONT LISTEN!!! An hour an 10 mins with bus changes and tram changes. No air con in rooms and the fridges dont work. When questioned about the fridges the reply was...

Not three star at all. Everything tired - threadbare towels, very dated room furnishings and iffy bathroom. A distance from the city centre - a walk (area scary at night), a bus and a tram. Some of the staff quite rude. There for four nights - ate restaurant food first night and both had upset stomachs the next day, so...

The botel is located quite far from the city center but the location is advantage for those traveling by car or just passing through or for those who want to experience this type of accommodation. For those aimed at the city center I recommend to find private accommodation in the city center (for example, our two friends stayed in the...

The hotel is pretty far away from the city center, but it's OK for 1-2 nights' stay. It's clean and decent & you can have an OK breakfast in their restaurant, so you can get back on your feet and be off to wander the streets again :)

The Botel helped make our trip extra special. It's cheap as chips and has everything you will need for your stay except for air con. Entertainment at night lasted until the small hours and was first class. Live music from Swedish rockers to football songs and at no extra cost. I would recommend sitting out on the veranda and watching...

Awkward location for visiting Budapest (the bus runs regularly). But the boat is on a lovely, quiet canal. Very relaxing. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant provides great food.We loved having a drink on the deck and watching the sunset.

I stayed at Botel Lisa for six nights in July 09. It is easy enough to get to places of interest (Vaci Utca, Chain bridge, Fisherman’s Bastion) by taking a bus and either one or two streetcars which run frequently enough. Having said that, it still takes approximately one hour which makes for a tiring day, given that if one...

I stayed in this hotel many many times. However many people claim the opposite, it isn't far from the town centre at all: 7km. But the Budapest traffic can be horrible. If you know your way, it is quite easy to find, just follow the Duna border all the time. The kitchen is good, I tried about everything and never...
