Nothing fancy, but clean, well located and has friendly and proficient staff. Bathrooms seem quite new. The pillows were odd, though: never seen such firm and high pillows before... Got in so late we didn't bother checking if housekeeping could have changed them, so check yours when you first sign in. More

We stayed at the Hotel Bern for 3 nights and thought that the Hotel was excellent, it is so convenient for all the sights of Tallinn. We got the bus from the airport to stop number 6, at 2 euros per person, it is a two minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel. Check in was efficient and... More

As most reviewers have said, and I can only repeat, this hotel is very very convenient, basic but more than adequate for a city break where you need a good clean and comfortable place to sleep and a good shower. Room was 'compact' but plenty big enough for 3/4 night stay. My wife thought bathroom could have been cleaner but... More

This hotel has everything you want when you visit tallin. It was central to the old town and was an excellent place to stay in. The room was comfortable and large enough. The breakfast was really great and one of the best i have ever had. The staff were really friendly and helpful. What more can I say....try it yourself! More

This is a fabulous hotel in Tallinn centre and great value for the money. The rooms are adequate in size if a little basic but you really don't need anything more. There is satellite tv in every room and the usual desk, phone etc. No tea making facilities but I think that's more of a British thing! There is free... More

Travelled to Tallin again 24-26 March. This time we chose Bern Hotel, which we liked a lot! The location is perfect - just 2-3 min walking to Viru Gates on a very quiet street. It took us 5 euro to go by taxi from Bus station to the Hotel. Our double room was 213 and my parents room was a... More

The Bern is very much worth your consideration - especially if you're on a tight budget. Just a minute's walk to the Old Town and less than five minutes walk from the 90K bus stop to/from the airport. Our rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. Not many luxuries in the room or bathroom (although there is a complimentary Bathrobe -... More

I stayed at Hotel Bern with my 10-year old son. The best asset of the hotel is the location. It's close to the harbor at the outskirts of the Old Town, right next to KalevSpa waterpark. The service was very friendly and breakfast adequate. The rooms are clean and modern but pretty basic. More

We stayed as a couple in mid March 2012. Hotel Location: The hotel is located approx 5 mins walk from the Viru Gates into the Old Town and also a 10-15 mins walk to the Ferry Terminal. The hotel is set back off Aia Street which makes it quiet if you are staying in a room on the front of... More
