Incredible value for money. Really comfortable room, bathroom had underfloor heating. Very good breakfast, which was included in room price. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Top marks all round, would definitely stay again.

We traveled to Riga to appreciate the Art Nouveau architecture in the old town, and this hotel was conveniently placed to allow easy access to a lot of the different routes advertised by the city's tourist website. We ate a decent breakfast each morning before heading out to explore.

This hotel is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is very good, close enough to the old town but outside the congestion charging zone. They have parking for a couple of cars in the courtyard which, although it is not guarded, is out of sight and probably safe enough if you don't have anything fancy.... More

What a great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were lovely and quite functional. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking to the old town. Breakfast service was quite nice, good variety and eggs to order.

Small family run hotel located in a courtyard off a main road so traffic is not an issue. Small hotel on a good location, comfortable and clean rooms, tasty breakfast, very friendly staff. No dark curtains and thin walls. It's a bit noisy because you can hear other people talking in their room and on the corridor and also when they enter the room.

Great hotel. Not that expensive. Nice location just outside the busy Old Town but with much nicer restaurants and cafes, I think. Edvards is not fancy but very clean and newly renovated. The breakfast has what you need. Maybe not that many sausages and bacon, but really, do you need that? The personal seems to make scrambled eggs on request.... More
