We had an excellent experience at the Mahana. The room was very nice but the dinner was spectacular! We ate in the garden - had an organic dinner that was fabulous. Highly recommend it! The service was wonderful. Great location right on the water!

The location and grounds of Mahana Lodge are for sure gorgeous as the whole area of Marlborough Sounds is. We stayed in the studio for one night on our way doing the entire QC Track. Perfect place to rest and relax after two days walk. Meals were excellent. Hosts were gracious. And company of travelers enjoyed. Too bad they cannot get Internet on their location. Rooms were a wee bit smaller than I'd like, but we were very comfortable.
