Stayed at Broadway Hotel for 2 nights whilst on business trip around top of South Island. Having arrived late in the evening we appreciated the thoughtfullness of the owners turning the heatpump on earlier so we were welcomed by a cozy warm room on a chilly night. The unit was a good size with a double bed and electric blanket,... More

We spent only one night in Picton, having arrived on the afternoon ferry. We were very impressed with our room - it was huge, with an extra large bed and separate sitting area with sofa and large TV. There was the usual small kitchenette and small dining table inside plus outside tables on the balcony (facing west) and by the... More

During our recent family holiday to New Zealand, we stayed at the Broadway Motel. We were very pleased with the room and the service. The motel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is also very convenient in terms of distance to the Picton/Wellington ferry. It was less than a 5 minute drive to... More

We'd just completed a 5 week drive around the South Island, staying in many Hotels, Motels and B&B's and on our way back to Mangawhai, Northland, stopped in Picton. Hadn't booked accommodation, looked at many motels, found them wanting or expensive until we found Broadway Motel. Beautfully presented, very helpful people and well located for local restaurants, shops and Ferry... More

The location was very convenient. It was located just around the corner from London Quay where all the day trips depart from/activities start so we didn't have to walk far in early morning/didnt have to get up too early. there were plenty of restaurants and shops around so we didn't have venture afar to get food. We could also make... More

On arriving I thought it was going to be a bit noisy but was very pleasantly surprised just how quiet the rooms are with the hush glass! Extremely clean and a super comfortable big bed. LOVED the spa bath!! The whole (upstairs) unit had a very spacious feel and a lovely view from the bed toward the hills. It is... More

Missy007 - thank you for your positive feedback and it great to hear that the sound proofing has worked for you. We do also have earplugs in the rooms for the light sleepers, if they require additional sound proofing. It’s also very nice to hear that you enjoyed the large corner spa bath, central location and the spacious room. Donna,... More

Stayed for 7 nights with a small baby while visiting family. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly as my husband was a bit sick, fulfilled all his special requests about room cleaning and more towels. Also very helpful with our baby, eg lending us a baby bath. Room was lovely and comfortable. We had king studio for the 3... More

The Broadway is a spotlessly clean, well managed modern motel offering large, comfortable and well equipped rooms with a firm, comfy bed. Parking is easy and the large sliding patio-style door into the room meant it was easy to get the luggage in and out. There's a free internet terminal for guests in the reception area - which is a... Popgunner:- thank you for your positive comment about our family business. It’s great to hear you enjoyed our central location and that you thought the room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. I am sorry to hear that passing traffic noise disturbed you in the morning as we have already installed double glazing and heavy drapes to minimise any noise... More

We had three nights at the Broadway before and after our walk on the QCT. The rooms were spacious with a sitting area and a small well appointed kitchen. Beds were very comfy and the bathrooms had very large showers with lots of hot water. Furniture is modern and the place is well looked after. On our first night we... More
