This was undoubtedly the cosiest hostel I've ever stayed in! No bunk beds & a very homely feel made for an extremely pleasant stay. The little hand-knit booties left on each of our beds, and the option of home-made bread for breakfast were a lovely touch! Would highly recommend this gem to anybody looking to stop off at Picton:) More

Jugglers rest is great. It is beautiful, homey and really down to earth. The owner lives on site next door and is a really interesting person. The place is clean and comfortable and feels more like a B&B than backpackers. More

Amazing hostel in every way. Its more like staying at a friends home than staying at a hostel. I've stayed three times now and will hopefully be back for one last time before I leave New Zealand! This is a fantastic place to chill out. It's the kind of hostel you stay at to enjoy the hostel. You can learn to juggle, use fresh herbs from the garden and enjoy a nice evening by the fire or on the porch where if you're lucky there may be an impromptu circus performance or some guitars and singing.
