We stayed at this B and B for a single night in mid-December. It is conveniently located close to the Interislander ferry terminal. The views are blocked by a large motel complex across the road. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Caring, helpful management. Picton is worth a longer visit than most people give it. Wonderful place to stay for anyone on a non extravagent budget. Extremely friendly hosts, which really made it for us. Lovely homely feel. Lovely breakfast in a nice living area. Read reviews and looked forward to staying here! Very disappointed! We had the Captain's Cabin and were told we wouldn't need/want to leave. There was outside seating but It was raining and there was no indoor seating (except the bed). The outside BBQ had cockroaches in it and little gas - no outside light- had to ask for a pot... More

We stayed in a very characterful room with a four-poster bed but hardly any wardrobe space, just a rail over the fridge! The Lodge is an old building which has been tastefully refurbished. There was free internet but no working guest telephones available. Tasty breakfasts were served by the jovial manager in a pleasant breakfast room. More
