Having stayed here several times I know what to expect which is an old house with some charm, some wonderful people at the front desk, a so-so bed, minimal amenities and a less than satisfactory breakfast. There is no elevator in any of the houses and the stairs are steep. The rooms can get pretty stuffy in the DC spring,... More

I stayed here in a nice, quiet room with wooden flooring, shared bathroom (clean). Staff were helpful, breakfast ample, and hotel is well located, a 10-minute walk from metro station, and also 15-minute walk from the zoo. More

This was my sixth time staying at Adam's Inn. I love this place. First - it's affordable. Amazing for D.C. Second - it's like a piece of Europe in the U.S.. There are always interesting people staying there, many from across the globe. Breakfast conversation is lively and broadening. (This trip there was a film maker from Paris, three sustainable... We spent just one night in this charming Inn but that was enough to fall in love with it. The room and the bathroom were very clean, breakfast was fresh and versatile, a public computer in the lobby had fast internet connection and even a printer (!). We reserved a garage in advance and were happy we did so -... More

My family and I recently stayed at the Adam's Inn. This was our second stay. The inn does have slow drains and worn furnishings, but our family is willing to overlook these issues as it's a great location and inn for families with children. Everything seemed fine until two weeks after our stay when we received an upbeat email that... More

The Adam's Inn is located on a charming street in a thriving, multicultural neighborhood and the room decor is always tasteful yet also perfect for families. After year 10, never a disappointment ever, breakfast is always yummy, filled with interesting company. I recommend this to any erudite traveler. Walkable to Metro and zoo and a litany of wonderful little cafes. More

I recently stayed here and was in a room with a shared bath. There was what a group of high school students staying there and the bathroom situation was not the best. There was always someone in the bathroom and when I finally got into the bathroom in the morning to shower, there was a soggy and filthy bath mat... More

We always enjoy staying at Adam's Inn. It is close to the Metro, the Zoo and a nice community of restaurants and businesses. Holly was very friendly handling our check in and answering our questions. The Inn is not fancy but is very Homey and Comfortable and we plan on staying there again in the near future. More

We are a couple 25-35 years old. First off, this isn't a true B&B, but I already knew that so I wasn't disappointed. Each morning they serve a nice assortment of cereal, bagels, and yogurt with delicious milk, orange juice, and coffee. There is a cute candy jar down stairs (we raided this every day!) and granola bars available during... More

I loved it, as was everything I pictured a B&B experience to be. Homey, clean and comfortable in the middle of a great area of DC with easy on Metro. Management had so many helpful hints as to make our stay easy and fun. My only complaint was that my time frame didn't allow me to stay longer. I will... More
