Stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was very spacious with very comfortable bed. TV had HBO channels. Breakfast was free, however, not much to eat. Coffee was good. Hotel room looked old. There is some room for improvement in the building looks. The best thing about the hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. They go above... More

I liked very much this hotel. Big room, very confortable bed, nice bathroom. Internet didn not work properly. Do not have a breakfast area, you have to pick your meal at the lobby and eat it in your room. More

We stayed here for 2 nights with 3 kids in tow....... massive sized room with updated bathroom and classy wetbar area. Breakfast so-so but that's what you get these days at most places. Heard a few bumps in the night but otherwise slept very well. Very comfortble king bed with fancy high count sheets. Location was extremely convenient. Valet parking... More

We stayed here 5 nights. It is a great location near really good Georgetown restaurants. Since M Street is just a quarter block away it is close to the bus and by bus the Foggy Bottoms metro station is close (we walked the 15 minutes several times.) It is also half a block from the C and O canal park... More

We stayed four nights in the Monticello, in a very large room with two queen sized beds in it, plus a little kitchenette. We were very comfortable. The place is run in a slightly lackadaisical way but everything worked fine and the people that worked there were very nice. It is terrific value and we had a very pleasant stay. More

I stayed at this hotel on business and was very disappointed. The hotel looks like it has not been renovated in a while. My room was worn and tired looking with scuff marks on the furniture, a couch that looked like some elephants had sat on it and bathroom fixtures that are about circa 1990. There was a small refrigerator... More

We stayed at the Hotel Monticello for 3 nights during my daughter's March Break. We had an absolutley great stay. The valet service was very helpful (thank-you Cruz) and the location perfect. Although just steps to the main stretch of Georgetown, I found that the road that Hotel Monticello is on was very quiet and peaceful. The decor is a... More

We were on a college tour to Georgetown University and stayed one night at the Hotel Monticello. It could not have been a better location. Steps away from shops and restaurants, and very convenient to the University. Friendly staff, valet parking (important in Georgetown!). It had the air of genteel shabbiness. A bit frayed around the edges, but comfortable, clean... More

The hotel is in an excellent location just a block off of M Steet, central to all locations. The price was less than $150 a night in a very large room. There isn't a restaurant, but who needs it when there are many within a 5 minute walk. If you do insist in eating in - they do have several... More

I recently stayed in a king room at this hotel. Although it was ready for some refurbishing, I appreciated that my room was over-sized, with a refrigerator and microwave. The bedding was comfortable, even though the mattress was a little too firm. They offered juice, coffee, cereal and pastries for breakfast. Not overly healthy, but enough to get by on.... More
