I recently stayed here on business, planning to hike the hill and advocate for consumers. Great location with in walking distance of Library of Congress, Senate & House offices. Helpful concierge staff were attentive and made our city tour easy & pleasant. Small rooms but amenities are carefully located. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in over the past... More

This is a wonderful historic hotel located near Union Station. We had 2 rooms for 6 people, and both were beautifully furnished with comfortable surroundings and great views - we we on the 8th floor. They have a wonderful Irish Pub - Dubliner - downstairs that has great food. The valets are amazing, and can get you a cab in... More

Very close to bus stop and DC Metro Station (right across the street). Also close to Capitol Building. Great Location to be able to walk to the National Mall area. Went for Memorial Day, 2013. Bed was comfortable. Didn't use the internet-only used my phone for my google maps. Internet on my phone was horrible throughout DC, and I have... More

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your visit with us. Yes, overnight parking is very expensive in Washington. As well as very limited for 24/7 access in a secured location. You were fortunate to find street parking and I am glad you were able to park event free. Thank you again for... More

Me, my husband and my daughter stayed at the hotel back in May for three days of sightseeing & touring. On our way to the hotel i called ahead to confirm that we had a room with two beds. the woman on the phone assured me that we did. When we got to our room we only had one king... More

Arriving at the Phoenix Park Hotel at 11pm local time after 30 hours in transit from Australia meant my wife and I were initially looking for not much more than a comfortable bed and room. We certainly got this and had a great night's sleep, not just that first night but the next two as well. It took us approximately... More

We are pleased you enjoyed your visit and found our hotel location ideal for your needs and our staff so friendly and helpful. The Dubliner is well known throughout the world as an authentic Irish pub but its charms are not always appreciated by everyone. I am sorry you did not enjoy your meal and experience with them. Thank you... More

We stayed at the Phoenix Park Hotel in D.C. as part of a package offered by Yankee Holidays. What a big mistake. The package was expensive and not worth the money. Our room was tiny with an inadequate bathroom that had a rusty shower/tub. The final straw came when the valet who went to get our car as our trip... More

I am sorry to hear of your experience with the valet parking failure. There is no excuse for this lapse in service and while sometimes a mistake can occur, resolution should be prompt and I will remove the parking charges from your bill. Thank you for sharing this with us so that we can personally follow up and apologize to... More

When we booked the Phoenix Park Hotel, we thought it would be quaint. Boy, were we mistaken. I would stay away if you are claustrophobic at all. The elevators fit two people and two carry-ons. The rooms are also very small with low ceilings. This hotel reeks of fish from the pub on the first floor. Our one tiny room... More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit. Our classic architecture and traditional decor does provide a quaint atmosphere but as with older buildings, lobby and room sizes often are not large and there is little we can do for that. We strive to provide excellent Irish hospitality and service and I apologize that this did not seem to... More

Hotel is a couple of blocks from Union Station and vibrant Capitol area. Staff was helpful. Room was a bit small, but clean, and nicely furnished. Free wifi is a plus. Lots of cable tv channels, coffee pot in the room.

The service was horrible the elevator was way to small. They only have to baggage carts for the entire Hotel really. Now you have to wait until one is available. Won't give you a late check out especially when they know you're there on a business trip and there's a ceremony service at Capitol hill every year at this time.... More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit with us. While we have an excellent location on Capitol Hill, we are an older building and our public spaces, rooms and elevators are not large.
