We were here for a convention and it works well from distance to convention center. The hotel needs an update, tired rooms and low lighting with few outlets to use. The elevator location is a problem since it is only at the center of the hotel so all rooms are a long walk away- what were they thinking? Did not... More

I was pleasantly surprised about my experience at this hotel. I was in town for a conference and despite the huge construction project occurring across from the hotel, my stay was nice. I was booked on the club floor and had access to the lounge. The module check in didn't seem to work but the front desk agent was very... More

We just spent 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt in Washington and the staff were so awesome I had to write this review. At check in we were offered free internet. My son caught his shorts on an exposed piece of metal on a chair in the Grand Cafe and we were offered half off our buffet bill and a... More

Great place overall, excellent service and comfortable room. Could hear the neighbors on each side a bit, but apart from that, it was perfection. The hotel is in close proximity and walking distance to the tourist attractions and downtown. More

Stayed here in Aug 2010 with some friends. We were backpacking and didnt feel quite at place in our backpacking clothes in such a grand foyer/hotel! Staff were so-so, had some trouble checking in but then it was fine, bit chaotic. Rooms were amazing, we were on one of the top levels but only had a view of the street... More

The lobby of the Grand Hyatt, Washington, D.C. is huge and gorgeous. In fact, the entire hotel is impressive at first glance. Having an entrance to the Metro right in the lobby is a definite plus. All personnel with whom we came in contact went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located and... More

Once you pass the oh-so-shiny lobby, everything becomes mediocre. We had a standard double room and the only good thing was that we had two huge beds and a big TV. The furniture was a bit on the older side and no safe in the room (seriously?). There was an obviously old and very loud ventilation system which we had... More
