The decor in the room was a bit tired but otherwise it was a really good hotel for us. After all we spent 12 hours each day away from the hotel sightseeing! Location is excellent, with an easy walk to Georgetown and Foggybottom metro station. We would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants things done right, without having to... More

Great place to spend a few days in DC. Located several blocks from two Metro stations (Foggy Bottom at GWU and Dupont Circle), the Washington Marriott is only several blocks from the shops in Georgetown, a 20 minute walk to the Capitol Mall (Lincoln Memorial side) and lots of restaurants in the Dupont Circle area (10 minute walk). Not that... More

I stayed at the hotel for three nights in late March, the first time I have stayed at the Marriott and I was visiting DC as a tourist. The room was clean and well cleaned every day I found the room to be large and well-presented and I was thankful for the in room complimentary tea and coffee after walking... More

I stayed at this hotel because my company had booked me in for a conference. The staff of the hotel were excellent, very attentive and helpful. The room was large, comfortable and nicely laid out. Getting to places in DC was very simple. Assuming that the food for the conference was catered by the hotel as well, then I can... More

Hotel's location is good. Near georgetown and city center (though you may need to take taxi to go to the National Monument area) Building, room and property are pretty average. Clean and decent. Not spectacular but not too bad. I like the fact that they have self laundry room..... really helpful to avoid using the very expensive hotel laundry service... More

I stayed at this hotel last week while attending the ONE Power Summit. The hotel staff was fantastic! Always friendly and helpful in any way possible. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the coffee maker in the room. That is often rare in higher end DC hotel rooms. I liked having escalators between... It makes me ill to think I had to pay almost $400 / night for a rundown room at this Marriott. It's in desperate need of an update, the room was musty, the bathroom was tiny, and there was no wifi. The staff was pretty friendly, but the stay is not worth the price. I'll definitely find another place next... More

Hi HalleAndTheWorld!!! While it's great to hear my team took care of you, I'm sorry you didnt like your room. We do have some guests that prefer rooms with larger bathrooms and they are located in our Business Wing. Also, it sounds as if the signage may not have been present in your room as all of our rooms have... More

I've stayed here roughly a dozen times, most recently April 2012. I really like the location, walking distance to Georgetown, Blue line metro at GWU, and Red line metro at DuPont Circle. I thought the price was reasonable a $199 which included parking. And I'm happy it was self-park, come and go as you please, because I'm valet-phobic. Only problem... More

Hey There DMO1976- I'm glad you loved the location of our hotel. We have alot of guests like you and your wife that take advantage of the Metro train when visiting. I can sometimes be a "valet-phobe" too so its nice to know you appreciate the self parking option the hotel provides. Thanks for staying with us!- Kori Johnson, Assistant... More
