I had heard wonderful things about the Jefferson Hotel so I made a reservation for a short business trip. The staff were very courteous and the check-in was flawless and fast, but it was a bit of a shock when I entered my room and had to drop my suitcase to pass between the bed and the dresser/TV stand. The... More

What a GEM! There was no separate way to rate "Quill" (the restaurant attached to the Jefferson Hotel) so I'm posting this here. We stopped for a bite after work and are returning in another day. The salads, the sandwiches, the entrees... the ravioli of the day was veal and crawfish, the soup - a cold zucchini bisque (amazing!)... the... More

This is a pricey hotel but worth every penny. From the Front Desk Manager, to the concierge, to the entire staff, everything is impeccable. The food in the hotel is wonderful as well. We did a lot of walking and found it to be a good location. More

We stayed at The Jefferson with my parents and our 3 year old daughter. Upon check in, they brought out a radio flyer filled with some toys for my daughter to choose from, which was such a nice welcoming. We learned that a rollaway bed wouldn't fit in the standard size room and would have to pay for an upgrade.... More

An absolutely brilliant hotel. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and looked after. The building itself is stunning and oozes charm and quality. The rooms are a little small, but entirely adequate, impeccably clean and very well appointed with big bathroom (complete with tv built in to mirror). All staff were very helpful, and I especially enjoyed the... More

Lovely hotel with great calm gracious service. So civilized! It's pricey, no doubt. But it is a lovely experience. All of the staff are courteous, helpful, and charming. Original Jefferson documents in the lobby. Gorgeous public rooms. Guest room was on small side, but perfectly adequate. TV in the bathroom mirror-how cool is that? Nice little amenities like an office... More

Everything in this hotel works for the guests. The check in is easy, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff attentive but not overly so. This is by far the best Hotel in DC. Well done Jefferson. More

I have stayed at the Jefferson many times, both before and after the extensive remodeling. One of the best parts of the hotel was a cozy bar, which has been expanded, but which is still very nice. However, on two recent visits, I have found waitstaff in the bar to be surly, slow and in accommodating. Mixed drinks are well... More

My partner and I just got married here, in their book book, and stayed the night in a huge suite. This hotel really could not have been any better, service great. Rooms are top notch. This hotel ranks at number one or two that we have stayed at in the world. More

The brides favorite memorial is the Jefferson memorial in DC, her favorite historical figure is Jefferson himself, her fiance proposed to her at the Jefferson Memorial. So it made perfect sense that they get married at the Jefferson Hotel in DC. It is elegant, clean and beautiful. However dealing with their catering and conference services manager was a nightmare. She... More

Dear Laura b, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Lina and Adam's wedding. I would like to once again apologize for the frustrations that they encountered in planning their intimate wedding, as I realize how special this event was for them. I have personally been in contact with their wedding planner and will do my... More
