We stayed in the Attache for a weekend on our way to Siesta Key. We chose to stay in Apalachicola because of it's convenience to both Cape San Blas and St. George Island, with quaint small town convenience. We tried the Consulate based on reviews in TripAdvisor and were well satisfied! Some of the docks are located directly across the street from the Consulate and it's a block or 2 walk to many, many restaurants and the main street area. Very convenient. The Consulate Suites was a great place for a quiet family mini vacation.
