I really enjoyed the crew and the dives. Really easy going and fun. (DM) took my wife on her first ocean water dives and struggled with that, but different story. The crew had chips, salsa, fruit and cookies. They were stocked on snacks and water...A+ Unfortunately, we were there on a dive excursion from our cruise and the 2 places... More

We dove here for one day as a stop on a cruise. Normally we don't book our diving through the ship, but we heard it was the best option in Belize. Belize City is a tender point and the dive shop picks you up at the ship. The boat we used for diving was nice and the resort was a... More

This dive was too expensive - $165 for 2 tanks from cruise ship Carnival Liberty. I was expecting Belize to make my list of top dive spots, but now I am in no hurry to go back - they under whelmed me. On the same cruise I enjoyed and had much better diving at 3 of my top favorites -... More

My husband and I just returned from Hugh Parkey's. First the great: service was awesome. From their flexibility when we had to reschedule because we couldn't make our original dates, to the on-site services were great. Ronguel (the guy who handled all food and beverages) was a gem. Also great: the tours, both kayaking in mangroves and snorkeling on the... More

I have posted a few pictures on Hugh Parkey's FACEBOOK page. We traveled as a family. Our son had a blast on the island. He met a few friends and enjoyed the kayaking, the boat trips around the water, the hammock swinging and the snorkeling. And did I mention eating? The food and the drinks were outstanding. One day it... More

I booked a 2 tank boat dive with Hugh Parkey's in September 2011. The diving itself was pretty good, with beautiful underwater topography and lots of fish, but there were some issues with the overall experience that kept me from having the sort of experience that would qualify as excellent. The diving equipment itself was average fare for rental and... More

Resort dives for 4 of our group was totally unacceptable and unsafe. Group watched video without any follow up or question and answers. 5 minutes each off the dock for skills then off to dive. 1 divemaster 4 divers. 1 diver ran out of air and had to do an out of air accent by himself. Another diver had a... More

We just returned from a 5 day trip to the Adventure Lodge where we had a trip of a lifetime. We took our 2 sons 20 and 23 for a much needed family vacation. We practically had the island to ourselves. Lorena helped us schedule the trip and checked on us frequently. We dove 3 days and one night dive... More

Went to the lodge for a week and I did have a good time. Very peaceful and the best of all were the people who work there, really nice, great service, helpful. I guess my expectations were really high based on the reviews I had read and this is where my dispointment came from. It is an island and there... More

Dove with them as they were the cruise ship's offering. They were great - very proactive in helping with all aspects of the dive. Very service-oriented. Larry (our dive master) was wonderful! More
