My boyfriend and I stayed at the "Sleeping Giant Lodge" for 5 nights and 7 nights at the Almond Beach Resort in April. We were welcomed with local rum drinks while meeting our new friends. We were blown away when we were upgraded to the 2 bed 2 bath "River House." It was so beautiful and away from the lodge,... More

The sleeping giant was the perfect place to mix relaxation with adventure. The quaint atmosphere inspired friendly conversation with the other guests as well as the staff. There were not many guests when we went, and the staff took their free time to brighten the atmosphere with beautiful flower arrangements, candles, and individual attention to our needs. The Garden room... More

Stayed on the all inclusive package. So all food and locals drinks included. Kudos to the chef, every meal was a delight. Best food we had our entire trip (we stayed 3 other locations). Our casita was wonderful, roomy and well decorated. Two excursions were included in our package. The cave tubing expedition was great! Cool, relaxing and informative, a... More

Stopped in for lunch at the recommendation of Eugene from Caves Branch. Glad we did, food was great and the staff members were excellent. Cleveland Gillett and Brian were awesome. Mr. Gillett gave us a tour of the property, he was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and courteous. We totally enjoyed our afternoon, which included some fresh exotic flowers that were recently... More

We recently stayed at the Sleeping Giant and LOVED our experience!! The hotel is situated in the midst of an orange grove, on a river, and in the jungle. It is beautifully landscaped with incredible flowers, shrubs and trees. We LOVED the staff! Bryan,Berta, and Cleveland were the most hospitable and knowledgable and accommodating people we know. They made our... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of honeymooning in Belize. We went with a jungle and beach package so we started our vacation at the Sleeping Giant Lodge. We had such a great time. The lodge was beautiful and well kept. Our room had fresh cut flowers, the cutest towel animals, and a large comfortable bed. We stayed in... More

We spent 3 nights at this rain forest lodge. My husband and I was welcomed by Brian 3 times who showed us around the lodge area while we waited for Emerson (manager). While checking in, Brian got us drinks and a plate of sliced mangerines (3 times larger and sweeter than a tangerine). Emerson proceeded to show us around the... More

Our stay at the Sleeping Giant was just fantastic! The environment is great. The staff are great. The food was amazing. The experience was one of a kind! Very relaxing, yet lots to do. The day trips that they offer were hard to choose between. We were not disappointed by any of them - and, the guides were great -... More
