I stayed during the off season. Great value. I was in the small villa, Villa Jade, which was beautifully furnished. Rosa comes and cooks breakfast and Lydia made pepian one evening. Lesly was helpful to arrange rides and transport to Antigua. Tuk-tuks to Pana are 15Q. They give you a cell phone during the stay. The villa is on the... More

Villa Balam Ya is the perfect place to stay to take in the beauty of Lake Atitlan. It is secluded so you can relax and in a tranquil environment. The property is surrounded by nature, there are even fireflies. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a glass of wine during the sunset. I recommend stocking up on groceries,... More

We spent two nights here and will remember it for the rest of our lives. The setting is spectacular, the villas are beautifully furnished and appointed, and the landscaping and tranquility can't be beat. You are surrounded by one of the most beautiful views in the world, as humming birds dance from flower to flower and fisherman in dug out... More

There may be no better way to experience Lake Atitlan than the Villas B'Alam Ya. The views are spectacular and you feel like you have it all to yourself because the villas -- each one distinctive -- are tucked away and surrounded by lush greenery. The walk into town is easy, presuming you might want to venture forth occasionally from... More

The Villas of Balam Ya create a wonderful way to experience Lake Atitlan. Each villa has its unique character. I stayed in the Jade Cottage, a small efficiency apartment.I felt like I was in a treehouse as it is nestled amidst beautiful mature trees. It is a well appointed cottage whose ambiance reflects traditional artisan work. The place was quiet... More

My husband and I stayed in villa Bambu for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was a little worried as didn't realise until just before our visit that the property was self catering with no restaurant. However this wasn't a problem and we had their chef cook for us on one evening which was lovely. Breakfast was brought... More

This was a great weekend in the company of friends. The house offers lots of amenities we were able to cook there, also went out on the kayaks and planned a boat trip to some of the towns around the lake. The lake is amazing and you get to have great views from the houses!

We spent two nights in Villa Mirador and had two spectacular morning rows in the two racing single shells available for use by guests. Where else in the world can one scull surrounded by volcanoes? We cruised several miles along the shore to the east, where homes cling to the steep slopes and small towns nestle in the valleys plunging... More

We spent spent one night at the villa Mirador and were taken over by such a well designed space and decor. Stunning views from every room...especially the bedrooms . The staff could not have been more attentive to all our requests whether it be arranging for the kayaks or delivering eggs to our door for breakfast . With only four... More

At the end of the trip I asked the family to make a list of the highlights of our Guatemala vacation, and our stay in this place featured among the best. Our family of four stayed 3 nights in Villa Bambu and the setting was serene and the view of the lake with Volcan San Pedro was simply breathtaking! The... More
