I want to write about an outstanding service that I received from Erica Dunn over at Wingate by Wyndham in Augusta, GA. My friends and I had booked a room at this hotel, but due to unforseen circumstances our plans had changed. We weren't sure what was going to happen and did not know what our options would be. But... Went to the Country Hearth Inn and it was too dirty to spend even one night in! Went down the street to the Wingate. The 3 year old with us walks into the lobby and says "It smells clean!" Even a child can tell the major difference. The Wingate was spotless, well maintained, true to the online posted pictures, and... More

Stayed here twice while picking up our son from Ft. Gordon; once in a King Suite, and once in a regular king room. The hotel is new. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Not much around the hotel, kind of off the beaten path, but it is very close to Ft.... More

We were planning to stay elsewhere. Stopped in to see the hotel and accommodations, stayed for a week. Trish Morris the Hotel Manager was absolutely wonderful. Her kindness and patience far exceed any hotel desk manager I have met. She went out of her way to ensure that the rooms meet our needs. We were traveling with an elderly handicapped... More

I booked my hotel through Expedia where I requested 2 rooms with double beds and it was confirmed that I had these rooms and there will be no issues. I arrived at the hotel on June 23 with 7 kids in my party, for a four day trip, and was told that Expedia never verified these rooms with the hotel.... More

The Hotel had various types of reservations for familes attending a swim meet near by. I made my reservations through Wyndham so I had no problem checking in Sat May 14. However, in front of me in line to check in was a woman who had made their reservations through a third party like Expedia. The Front Desk Clerk Tamika... More

I stayed here from Sunday, May 1st to Monday May 9th. The next morning early I was awakened by workmen in the hallway right in front of my room no. 103 taking up carpet, and installing new carpet. When I finally got up to go and eat breaksfast, I stepped on carpet adhesive. The Next morning I stepped on nails.... More

Thank you for your review on the property. I apologize for your less than wonderful stay. The manager has written an apology letter. As you said the hotel is going through renovations, and our hope for a hotel is not to disturb guests during this process. Please consider to stay at the hotel another time after renovations are finished. We... More

Thanks to a great staff for going above and beyond. A broken door mechanism caused a delay to my entrance into my room earlier this evening.
