We found this hotel in a last minute search and even though it is a chain, it has a great atmosphere and I would recommend it as an economical choice with charm! More

Stayed there for 2 nights as a stop over on our 10 hour drive there and back to Illinois. Cautious on entering but once inside, all worries put aside. Very clean room, bathroom updated. Breakfast excellent! More

Okay, I came off the highway grumbling. Not looking like where I wished i was staying. But the hotel has an old style porch, wonderful inside with character (former bed and breakfast in its day I guess) with old styled wood interior, nice layout. Rooms large and clear. Good wifi. Great staff. Decent breakfast (better than most). And no silly... More

Was here 2 nights on business, wish I could have stayed!! It is a beautiful place, gorgeous lobby, wonderful rich woods everywhere, screened wrap around porch on the front with wood rockers, pictures on the walls of old Auburns and Cords and Dusenburgs.......the lobby has nice sitting areas, great fireplace. Milk and cookies every evening at front desk, coffee all... More

I thought it looked pretty cool. I knew that meant they take their work seriously. I was able to get a hot tub room in which they are separated from the main tub which is nice. It makes you less scared to to use it haha. Free cookies baked at 8PM till 10PM(?)... this place really knows how to bribe... More

I'm impressed. This inn does everything right. The location is convenient, the staff is courteous, the building is immaculately maintained, and it's decorated in a country style that refrains from over-the-top cute. The abundant framed photos and automotive memorabilia in the hallways and public rooms almost make the inn feel like an extension of the nearby Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum.... More

I stayed here about a year ago and enjoyed this second stay as well. The Hotel is cozy, clean and comfortable. There were cookies and milk in the evening and a breakfast including waffles, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Great location and great price. More

Much better than the usual "next to the interstate exit" chain hotel. While the exterior looks similar to numerous other mid-priced chain hotels- the interior is a delightful surprise. The main entrance is flanked by screen porches, and opens to a wood paneled interior. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, and the complementary breakfast is set in a very... More

The hotel had brand new mattresses and they were awesome! The lobby was like an old lodge or mansion. The lobby was covered in wood trim and had a huge fireplace. Also, a large wooden staircase in the main lobby. They have two screened in porches that really made it feel like home. Staff was very pleasant and the rate... More

A couple of other motels in the area checked had strong odors of cleaning chemicals in the room. The Quality Inn at Auburn was exceptionally clean, with no lingering odors of smoke or cleaning chemicals. The beds were firm, slept great. Well decorated for the theme of the area. (auto museums) The staff seemed friendly, a family atmosphere, and wanting... More
