Stayed here for a couple of nights in April with two friends. The room was basic but clean (for morocco budget traveler standards). Communal Toilets always were stinky but once again, quite usual for morocco. Showers were basic and you were lucky if you got hot water. The plus side, the terrace is lovely to hang out on and the... Hotel Cascade was a good value for its price--a great location, amazingly hot showers consistently available, fairly clean rooms. It was a bit cold at night, but the hotel provided what extra blankets they could, given that they were almost completely booked. I would recommend this hotel! More

Good location and cheap prices are plusses, but otherwise, this hotel needs a lot of help. The manager(s) should be in the soccer-watching business, not the hospitality business. The hotel could be great if some pride was put into it. The rooms are dirty cells with band-aid colored walls and sheets with someone else's pubic hairs. I was treated well... More

Cascade is a small, thin, 2 floors and tarrace hotel in good location - close to Bab Bulejud (Blue Gate). Take petit taxi to this gate and you will find it just after crossing the gate. Rooms are small, mostly with windows on patio and equiped only in basics but for bagpackers it's enough. On the terrace is a fine... More

This hostel is great location, right in the middle of the action, and in the middle of the medina. However, the bathroom facilities were pretty dire - to be expected in a hostel I suppose, but it certainly put me off going for a shower. We stayed on the roof, which was amazing, as great views and a fabulous way... More

This was good for the money we paid, 150 DH. The pillows were a little hard but overall the room was nice and clean The bathrooms were a little disappointing, a little dirty, more unkempt than anything else, so they just looked bad, no toilet paper either, but that's kind of standard for morocco, have to bring around your own... Bab Boujeloud is the heart of the Old City of Fez. Hotel Cascade gives you several panoramic views of a beautiful section of the medina. It is a very famous place. It lacks tremendous cleanliness(i was itchy when i woke up mornings). The call to prayer will wake you up at 4 am, it's almost a promise, but the compensation... More

Stayed for three nights in this budget hostel. There is no breakfast included and I usually had breakfast in the restaurant next door. Location is perfect for exploring the medina of Fes by foot. Touristic neigbourhood. The hostel has a rooftop terrace, shared showers and toilets. The hotel is located within 50 metres of the Bab Boujeloud (one of the... More
