Wonderful stay. My fiancé and I had a great time at Dar Houdou. Steven and Mohammed run a charming, well-situated guest house in the medina of Fes. They were very accommodating of our travel schedule, and fixed us a delicious breakfast both mornings. Given the opportunity, we'd happily stay at Dar Houdou again.

Dar Houdou is an amazing Dar in the middle of the Fez Medina. The rooms are great, the location can't be beat and the breakfast is amazing. Steve the owner was in town and came by everyday to ensure we were have a great trip, recommend and then guide us to restaurants or sites and setup day trips for us.

The hotel is small and therefore very calm. The staff is perfect and the rooms are small but with every comfort (heating in the cold days, shower, toilet, etc.). Situated in the middle of the medina it is still very quiet. Great hotel and also gay friendy!
