We loved the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and free wi-fi. The owner is a really nice guy who is proud of his business and the place. He's doing a great job. We got everything what we wanted, so.it was a nice place to stay at.

Rooms are nice and the breakfast was great. It's down a side street and not too hard to find but it's worth getting the airport pickup if you are coming in after dark. The owner Mohammad is a chilled out guy and was helpful. Someone below has listed out the 'pros' and 'cons' in a far superior review to mine... More

Our stay at Dar el Yasmine was really great! Mhamed was such an amazing host and was so accommodating! He booked us a fez city tour, a medina tour and a desert tour! All of them were incredible, cheap and booked the day of! The food was excellent, your tea cup always full and I will never forget Mhamed's berber... More

We visited fantastic Dar el Yasmine in late March and were overwhelmed by the friendly and down to earth staff. We got a nice, clean room with shower (more than enough hot water) and good beds. The breakfast was excellent and freashly prepared by Cous Cous (Mohammed) - a super friendly and nice guy, who were there for us at... More

Pros: - tea on the house every time you walk through the door - great place to meet other travellers - great location in the medina but in a side street so much quieter than other places - cooking class run by Mohammed was good (and also a great way to meet other people) - rooms are a very good... An amazing place to stay and definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Fes. What really defines Dar el Yasmine and sets it apart from other hostels has nothing to do with the decor or the rooms but the staff who are truly amazing people. They will, without a speck of doubt, be some of The most genuine... More

Dar el Yasmine was a fantastic place to stay in Fes. The owners and employees were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like we had known each other for years! After our long travel to Fes we felt relaxed and excited to be in the great Medina. Muhammad and Aziz arranged dinner for us and helped us travel into the... More

Dar El Yasmine was great. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were very friendly, helpful and excited to share their culture with us. Mohammed showed us around the market and we bought the fresh ingredients for dinner and then learned how to make typical Moroccan dishes with Mstapha. They also helped to organize day tours both... Found this place by chance - our driver from the Sahara to Fez recommended this to us. At first we were hesitant to follow him but really glad we did because it was awesome. Probably wouldn't recommend you follow people in Morocco normally though... It is just off the main strip, really quite close to the blue gate. The owner... More
