All round great hotel. The staff was really friendly throughout the whole stay and when we were leaving called us a cab in the early morning (6 am) which came on time and didn't rip us off. “An efficient, well-located hotel”

The Ibis is conveniently located on the station square. It is a well-kept chain hotel, with very clean, though typically simple, rooms. Weaker features are the unreliable WiFi signal which fades at times and the lack of BBC World which is no longer available on the cable system.

Good location if you want to stay in the new part of town, in close proximity to the train station. It's very easy to locate and walking to the medina takes around 20-30 minutes. The hotel is literally outside Fez train station, so it's easy to find. The room was ok, there wasn't anything amazing about it - it would do with a face lift, but it's acceptable for the product. Like in many cities in Morocco (I saw it in Casablanca, Fes and in Marrakech), there is an Ibis hotel right close to the train station. Great location for travelers who don't want to stay in the medina. Pros: price, location, comfy beds, good tv channels, good free wifi, nice pool and gardens, secure Cons: condensation from window accumulates and drips all over desk in a large puddle, if you leave items there overnight they get wet.
