1) Arrived in afternoon. Asked clerk about market. Told us to go to supermarket. We said we did not want supermarket. He gave us an address and told us to tell the taxi driver. We ended up in a Moroccan 'Costco'. Spent 5 minutes in store and took 45 minutes to find taxi back. Told clerk. He said, "best market".... More

My husband & I stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour of Morocco. The hotel has seen better days and could hardly be called a 4 star hotel. However, it was comfortable enough for a short stay and the buffet dinner was fine. We appreciated the free use of the computer (with internet access) in the lobby. More

We stayed in this hotel two night as part of a 3 day Moroccan tour from Spain. We were scheduled to stay one night but our tour agency changed the schedule without our knowledge until we were well into Morocco…but that’s another story! We found our rooms cramped, especially the bathroom where you shared toilet space with the bidet hitting... More

I gave them a one on service which was not really accurate. The people were nice and kind in general. However when my husband and I checked in he remained outside to deal with the cab and I went to the front desk. I was suprised that the front desk attendant could both not read numbers and understand my bad... More

I stayed here 8 nights in november 2009. Friendly staff. As a woman alone I felt safe in this hotel. Most of the visitors are groups. A lot of german tourists. Room was ok. A bit oldfashion but ok. Clean. Food was poor. I paid halfboard, but quality of diner was poor. Same with breakfast. As a morroccan I know... More

I booked this hotel online, so I paid less than what you pay at the actual hotel. Very nice 4 star hotel. Had a lovely big room, and quite a large bathroom. The only problem with it was that even though I have fairly short legs(!), my knees were right up against the bidet when using the toilet! Nice little... More

This hotel is in the newer area of Fez but not too far from the old medina, The staff were always pleasant and ready to help. The reception area clean and traditonally decorated in moroccan style. The dining area ok, there are different areas for dining ,like a moroccan dining room and a more european style area. The food was... More

I was in Morocco with 21 students last March. While in Fes, we stayed at the Hotel Sofia. The location of the hotel is great - just off the main boulevard (which is stunningly beautiful) of the city. The hotel is older and could use a bit of a pick me up, but for the price was fine! Some of... More

As part of our tour, we were required to stay here for several nights and it appeared quite primitive in services. The elevators are very old and scary to ride in, especially when the metal doors slammed shut loudly. We're not sure if it was an energy saving feature, but the lights in the hallways would constantly go off, leaving... More
