Loved everything about Dar Seffarine. Service: Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with questions and requests. Enjoyed speaking with them about Fes and Moroccan culture, and also enjoyed the company of the other guests. Food: We opted for dinner at the riad during both of nights of our stay. While I'm sure you could find something less expensive... More

This riad made our trip feel magical from day 1 - in fact we were spoiled because we stayed here our first three nights in morocco and nothing else could compare to this after leaving Fez. The staff was so lovely and helpful and we got a really cool tour of the whole house, which is exquisite. We had the... More

My husband and I stayed at Dar Seffarine for a week in October. We stayed in a room with a double bed at the mezzanine level and also in the largest suite on the second floor. Both were beautifully decorated. The "small" room was actually my favorite. The breakfast every morning was lovingly prepared by Mohammad and included breads, pastries,... More

During my travels I have found very few Hotels that I could find little or no faults with, Dar Seffarine is one of them. The restored house is magnificent, the guest rooms range from beautiful to spectacular and the staff are charming. From the very start when Zouhir, one of the two Managers met us at the gate to the... More

An amazing oasis (especially after six months of travel). Fez teems with activity all around this wonderfully restored Dar. Every detail is perfect and Allah (the owner) didn't stop there, he has enlisted a staff that is the best we've come across during our word tour. Need something, just ask (and even if you didn't ask directly if one of... More

We come to Morocco every year for business. Our trip would not be complete without our stay at Dar Seffarine. Everything about the Dar is wonderful - the staff, the owners, the restoration and decor, the breakfasts, the dinners, and the other guests. Alaa also gave us a very interesting tour through the house, giving us information about the history... More

Perfectly restored, beautiful B&B in the centre of the medina of Fez. The owners and the entire staff were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were big and comfortable and, like the whole Dar, build up in a very traditional way with wonderfull artscraft. For us it was an oasis in the very busy and lively medina. Breakfast was very... More

The place is beautifully and tastefully restored with all the modern conveniences. The owners, Alaa and Kate are wonderful hosts and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The food Is terrific. We stayed for four nights and ate dinner three times at Dar Seffarine. Other guests agreed, the meals were much better than anywhere else in Fes. Breakfast was... More

Dar Seffarine is a gorgeous old house off of Place Seffarine. The 700 year old structure, with dizzyingly high ceilings off a central courtyard, is beautifully restored. Charming worn tiled floors and doors remind you that this is the real deal. Bedrooms are large but bathrooms are tiny and may not be suitable for those needing a lot, or really,... More

This trip to Morocco (our 11th) included Fes and only naturally we stayed at Dar Seffarine. Really this place just gets better every year but only on this visit of five days did I realise the important part played by the guests in our enjoyment. The building is very authentic and the food morning and night is unsurpassed, the staff... More
