My brother, sister and I stayed at Riad Slawi earlier this year and had the loveliest time. This was helped hugely by the friendliness of Adam, the owner of the Riad. From the initial emailing back and forth organising our trip, walking us through the maze of the city to the main square on the first day, to making reservations... More

Nothing was too much for Adam the owner of the Riad Slawi. Adam rang us before we left on the plane, and sent us an email with his phone number, so that we could ring him when we landed and then got to the main sq, where he would meet us, which he did, and took us in our hire... More

This riad is excellent. The host are wonderful and very helpful. We stayed there in may 2011 and is was the most relaxed 5 days we'v ever had! The food is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. One night we forget to ask if we could have dinner in that night [you have to let them know in the... More

Our stay in Riad Slawi was amazing. The Riad itself was absolutely beautiful, as well as clean and comfortable. The staff were very hospitable, especially the manager Adam, who had a beautiful traditional Moroccan meal prepared for us and entertained us with his lovely warm personality. I would highly recommend a stay in Riad Slawi and we will definitely be... More

A wonderful homely Riad in the north west of the Medina. If you're wondering whether to book this, then stop and go for it as it's a beauty. First time in Marrakech with my parter and we were both so glad for the help of Adam, the Riad owner. His enthusiasm, knowledge, hospitality and efficiency at making our stay as... More

Fantastic place. Great food. Adam(Manager) is one of the most helpful folks i have seen in my travel. He is very informative and goes out of his way to help you. We were late one day for dinner and we were talking to Adam who volunteered to run down three shops to make sure we had food and were not... More

As someone who never gets around to writing reviews of where I've stayed, I'm breaking the habit this time as I really want to back up all the excellent reviews of Riad Slawi. I stayed for 6 nights with my teenage son and we both loved the place: the lovely decor, the peaceful calm and laid-back vibe, the delicious breakfasts... More

We knew about Riad Slawi through the owner's relative who is a co-worker of my husband. I spoke to Adam(host of Riad Slawi) before reaching Marakkech and he said a taxi will be sent to the train station who will charge us 70 Moroccan dhirams. But the taxi driver actually charged 100 dhirams. The first things Adam did was to... More

This wasn't my first time in Marrakesh, so I knew pretty much the city and the "atmosphere".... So far this is the better place I've found for sleep. The building is well kept and comfortable. The food was great -we had both breakfast and a couple of dinners here: were abundant and good quality-. Moreover, I was really relaxed by... More

Adam is a terrific host: warm, thoughtful, full of solid info on Marrakech, entirely receptive to the little queries and requests that travelers have. He made sure thre was fresh coffee for us at 7:45am each morning even though breakfast wasn't normally served till 9:00. He was very kind to our five-year-old son--supplied extra cookies and hot chocolate, and even... More
