This is a lovely small hotel in the old city (Medina) of Marrakesh with lots of atmoshphere and in a very convenient location for exploring the city. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and interesting and was served inside when cool or on the rooftop terrace when warmer. However, if you are a coffee lover, the coffee is not great. During the... More

This is a place to stay in Marrakech. A wee bit difficult to find, but a lovely French couple helped us find it. It is difficult to navigate there anyway as street names are almost non existent, but luckily we got there. It is very near the Djemaa el Fna square you just need to find it. There is no... More

Stayed in Marrakesh for 3 days and chose this riad based on reviews and location and was very glad I did. Arranged to be picked up at airport (well worth it) and brought directly to riad which is at the end of one of the many narrow alleys you'll encounter. We never felt unsafe walking to and from attractions in... More

Stefan the owner was excellent and an incredibly genuine guy and the Riad was well kept, managed and clean. The Riad is excellently placed near to the medina, but still being quiet, however is a bit of a nightmare to find when you arrive, although this is probably the case with most of the riads in the medina area. Stefan... More

It looks that the Riad will offer you a friendly and nice place... but you must take care about their conditions. They are some old equiments they haven´t have or remove. The place looks a lovely hotel and the workers are very good, but not the owner, who tried to sell all kind of services but more expensive as outside.... More

Stayed at the Riad Alamir with a group of friends in July/Aug 2011. The location was perfect, being just a short walk from the Medina. The owner Stefan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, giving advice that enabled us to avoid some of the touristy pitfalls. The staff were wonderful, special mention to Rashid (nothing was too much trouble) and the... More

We only stayed in Riad Alamir for one night before flying out of Marrakech, however we would have happily stayed many more nights. The owner and the night porter (Rachid) were both very accommodating (especially as we were getting up at 5.30am for our flight!). The room was air conditioned and was tastefully decorated and the plunge pool was a... More

Stephane sat us down at the start and gave us great hints of what to do and not to do in Marrakech which made our stay very pleasant. We had dinner in the first night and their Tagine was one of the best we had in Morocco, the Moroccan red wine was also good. Their breakfast were great with freshly... More

The atmosphere in the ryad is very friendly. There is a ambiance crated by the owner - he makes an extra effort to give general advice about Marrakech - food, places to visit, safety and is well informed about the history of Morocco. The staff are very hospitable and would do anything to make you feel welcome. The mint tea... More

Perfect location under ten minutes walk to Square but in a very quiet back lane. The owner arranged an efficient transfer from the airport, or you could take a taxi for about 80 Dirham. then a barrow man to guide you the last couple of minutes. We were welcomed with mint tea and a brief introduction to the area, plus... More
