Its not a Hilton but its a place where you can enjoy and relax after a busy day.. The place is not far from the famous Djema El Fatna . The food is good and the rooms are clean and tidy. Its a place to enjoy and share the best of Marrakech.. More

We spent a week in riad Catalina and we loved it. The Riad is authentic and simple, its not the Hilton but who would want that in a place like Marrakesh? The food is amazing and the choice of drinks is good. The pool is simple, shallow, small and lovely with views over the city. The riads charm is in its... More

The Riad Catalina is really a unique and beautiful place to stay. The riad is traditional in decoration. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the service can not be faulted. Everyone is smiling and happy to help. We did not eat in the evenings at the riad as we wanted to venture out to the medina and to the newer town.... More

What a wonderful place to stay - I agree with the other reviewers - this isnt a five star hotel - what it is is a little piece of magic I'll remember for a long time to come!! It was an unseasonable 30 degrees on arrival through the dusty derb alleyways, so the cool tropical garden and fountains were most... More

This is a five star Riad, not to be confused with a five star hotel, small and friendly, more like a boutique hotel, really nice staff, no choice of menu for main meal but excellent food and plenty of good restaurants nearby, not easy to find, we had to ask people where it was, a Riad in the Medina gives... Amazing - this was a trip for my 30th birthday and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Location was amazing, 10 minutes walk to main square. I am amazed that we managed to find the place each time negotiating all the alleyways but it was relatively easy and we didnt get lost! Its amazing how... More

Stayed here for two nights after a break in the High Atlas mountains. The riad is in a great position and no more than a five minute walk to the the main square etc. Superb service from all the people working there who always had a smile on their faces. Breakfast was taken outside in the courtyard surrounded by fruit... More

We stayed three days at Riad Catalina in January. We had a lovely time in Marrakech. The staff was amazing, the room very romantic and the interior court beautiful. It is well situated, a few minutes from Djemaa Al-Fna square. An oasis of calm and tranquility in a bustling town. The breakfast was scrumptious, and the lamb and prunes tagine at... More

Wow! I loved staying in the Medina of Marrakech! Riad Catalina is excellently located for walking throughout the Medina and to Jemaa El-Fna. Tea in courtyard, breakfasts and happy hours in lounge were fun for meeting other guests. Guests tend to be European and a few Americans. Staff could and did arrange anything we requested...packaging for transporting chandelier home, daytrip... More

My friend and I stayed here in September for 5 days relaxation, and that's just what we got. I'd been told that staying in a Riad inside the Medina is a must in Marrakech, due to the fabulous food and warm hospitality you can expect. Given the wonderful welcome we were given at Riad Catalina, I would (and have now)... More
