Stayed here in MARCH 2013. Hotel located in the new town close to the airport and a 30 minute walk from the main square and souks. Bad Points - Hotel is dated and in need of an update. It's clean but traffic noise is a serious problem if you are located onto the main road. Staff mostly friendly but it... More

A friend and I stayed in this hotel in Feb 2013. The hotel was close to the airport and we were greeted by very friendly staff upon our arrival. The hotel was clean, warm and full of very cheerful staff throughout our stay, each happy to help. The room was a twin; it was a good size with a large... More

On arrival, we were immediately assailed with excursion offers presented to us in a dog eared shabby folder. A ride in a rickety lift which could barely hold two people delivered us to our room. The door opened onto a drab, run down, dark room whose only redeeming feature was clean sheets. The rugs were threadbare and dirty. The bathroom... More

Very good cheap hotel, well located, clean enough and with friendly staff. When you visit somewhere like Marrakech there's far too much to do all day and night to spend any time in your hotel other than to sleep, so we just wanted somewhere with a decent bed and shower and to store our stuff, nothing fancy. The Amalay did... More

One of the best budget hotel in Gueliz area which I prefer to stay there rather than chaotic Madina. May be old and worn but the rooms are airy and spacious. Only the bathroom is bizarre. To reaching to the bathtube you have to climb and warning to the management this will be dangerous both for elders and kids. Breakfasts... More

I didn't stay at this hotel but there is no entry for their restaurant which I ate at twice and was my favourite restaurant in Marrakech! The do amazing orange juice (15dh) and lamb tagines (50-70dh). The best tasting, quality food I had in Marrakech.

I stayed at this hotel for approximately a week and found it to be a very good value esp since I was able to use airline miles. I did, however have to pay a few dirham tax per day but it was minimal. The room was clean and the shower was hot and strong. I did not like the shower... More

Nice cheap hotel. Good shower and bath, really nice bedrooms and rooms have fully functional A/C and working TV with BBC news. Staff are friendly and the hotel feels very safe. Approx 3km from main square which you can work but if not these is a bus stop right outside the hotel which costs around 30p return! Buses very regular,... More

I stayed here at the beginning and end of my holiday, the woman on reception was quite unfriendly and unhelpful, the other staff were more helpful, but their English wasnt as good as in other hotels.
