Nicely decorated romantic rooms with an excellent breakfast and service. Also possible to have dinner which is certainly recommended to try out.
Marrakech is still reasonable priced, but has to watch out that it is not going over the top.

What a great riad. Initially wary as we were taken down what appeared to be back alleys, but in reality are common moroccan streets! Great welcome. Abdul, Mohammed and Yassine all very helpful and cheerful. Nothing was too much. Breakfast was excellent and views from terrace were great. The best bit was that it was so quiet yet just round...

It was our first time in Marakech and we spend some time ahead to search for the right place. And our choice was right, we loved it a lot.
Some edcuation ahead: Whilst most places are described as "Riad" - most of the smaller ones are actually "Dars". A real Riad has 4 garden squares in the court - whilst...

Wow! What a week. We have just arrived back from Marrakech. Our initial experience was somewhat of a cultural shock. The Riad Altair is situated well within the medina where you get to smell, taste and live amongst the 'real' Morracean people.

10mn walking from Djema El Fna, gorgeous decoration, a peaceful and relaxing place in the middle of this crowdy and busy wonderful city. Breakfasts are excellent and balanced.

I've never written a review before but felt compelled to after our wonderful stay at Riad Altair. The hosts - Abdel, Mohammed and Yassin (?) - were fabulous. They were attentive without being obstrusive. The house keeping staff were great too - friendly, producing gorgeous breakfasts and keeping the riad and the rooms clean.
The riad was beautifully decorated and...

Excelent choice if you're planning to stay near the Jeema el-Fna. Easy to locate, due to the excellent location, it's easy to walk to the main tourist atractions. The riad is fully renovated, the staff is very friendly and polite. Recommended!
