The Riad Amina is exactly what we were hoping for. A little north of the souks it is an oasis of quiet from the hectic city. Miriam and her team were welcoming. We experienced both lunch and evening meals here and were not disappointed with the variety and choice on offer. We enjoyed drinks served on the roof terrace and... More

After having been let down by Thomson Airways as they did not check in my luggage properly and had lost one bag at London Gatwick the least I was expecting for my holiday to get better. When me and my boyfriend were making our way to Riad Amina we were expecting things to get worse as the cabin crew were... More

We stayed at the Riad Amina in early November in a superior room. The Riad was fantastic. The staff were friendly and efficient. We were welcomed by Miriam and over leisurely mint tea and petits four she gave us lots of information regarding routes to and from the Riad (as it is in the Medina and vehicular access stops some... We stayed in Marrakesh for the first time. We found this riad excellent. Miriam and her team very very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Like others the city is not for the faint hearted, life is busy, locals are helpful though. However be aware that getting lost in the Souks is part of the fun. There are plenty of... More

If you are looking for a central location in the Medina, I would definitely recommend his Riad. It is close to the Souks and easy access to the new city, yet also providing a haven of peace after a long day of sightseeing/ shopping etc. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and we always felt we were returning to... Your car from the airport will drop you off by the big blue gates of the school as from there on in the roads and alleyways are too cramped for motor vehicles. At this point you'll wonder what you've got yourself into if this is your first visit to Marrakech! Fear not. It's quite safe and you'll observe that the... More

Arriving at the Riad was like all, an Oasis in the Medena a short walk down lane ways and Moroccan tea and sweets on arrival. On being taken to the room it was then downhill. The room measured 2m x 3m and the bathroom 1m x 3m, just room enough for the bed. We had dinner there and it was... More

A guide bought us here and thank goodness he did . From the moment we stepped over the threshold we felt welcome. Charlene, the owner, was very friendly and put us at ease...she did her best to accommodate us. We were offered to sit and relax and take some mint tea, as we waited while our room was prepared (we... More

After 36 hours of travel, to arrive at this oasis and be greeted with a mint tea and biscuit was a true delight. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh squeezed orange juice, just done pancakes, jam, coffee and that forever peace. Our ears were ringing from the silence, and we just loved it. The... More

This riad is really nice. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I would echo the comments of other reviewers. The manager said (if I remember correctly) that the riad used to house the grandfather of the current King's second wife and family. Some of the other riads in Marrakech and just knocked through houses but this one is... More
