We enjoyed our brief side trip to Meknes from Fes and found the riad a perfect base for meandering round the souks and sites of the town. The owners were friendly and helpful women and our twin 'berbere' room was colourful, cosy and comfortable. We stayed in the room that backed onto the terrace, which gave us great access to the much needed sun. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the French owner who also had good english was happy to give recommendations on good local restaurants.
