I note that a fellow reviewer says that this hotel looks better than it is. I can't agree more. There was an occasion when I asked for an espresso at breakfast, because the coffee provided was not good. This request seemed to send the staff into a crisis of anxiety as to how they would bill me. I finished my... More

The Hotel Rabat is advertised as a 5 star hotel, but it definitely is not. It is a solid 3 star hotel, that is not bad. Location: Good location. Close to the train station, parks, banks, restaurants, and the souk. Room: Spacious and extremely clean, but a little worn, just a little Bathroom: Very clean. Service: Very good. Upon arriving,... Looks better than it is. Let down by complacent front desk. On first vist we asked them to book a restaurant and checked twice. It was not booked. On second vist a front desk error meant that our room had been cancelled. Adequate breakfast selection but boring for a whole week. Irish Pub has nothing Irish about it but has... More

By local classification a 5-star hotel, the even reasonable price does not make it worth staying here. Very dirty to say the least, from the windows to the carpet in the guest rooms (don't you dare to look behind the curtains or under the bed), to the crockery on the breakfast buffet, the glasses, table clothes and the floor. Reception... More

Hotel was okay, however, definitely not 5 stars. Breakfast and dinner were average, rooms reasonably clean but in need of a make-over. Staff could not speak English very well. We stayed here as part of a Moroccan tour but in my opinion, a different hotel needs to be found for those of us paying extra for 5 star accommodation. Disappointing. More

After staying at various hotels for a business project which requires several team members to fly to Rabat frequently, we kind of settled on Hotel Rabat as being the most reasonable compromise. This does not mean it's a good hotel - it just means the others are either worse or too expensive. The good parts - it does provide a... More

I was served a disgusting cappuccino in a dirty cup for 6 dollars. The doorman has really harassed me hoping to get a tip. I have been overcharged 1500 dirhams for no reason at the checkout. When I booked the taxi myself from the airport have paid 200 dirhams, booked from the hotel is 300 for a dirty smelly taxi... More

Too many stars and too expensive for this hotel with dark rooms, out of fashion decoration, limited service (internet is out of price and staff is slow and incapable). Breakfast was okay but the venue casts a really gloomy and depressing atmosphere. Avoid. More

Firstly can I say this is not a 5 star hotel. Avoid it !!!! Rooms are not clean, they are old and tired. The whole hotel needs refurbishment. Breakfast is shameful although they do have someone making omlettes, if you can find a clean plate that may be your only pleasure. Most tables do not have cutlery, and there were... More

We stayed at this “so called” 5-star hotel for 2 nights in July 2010. We can NOT under any circumstances recommend Hotel Rabat. It is NOT an apartment hotel, but a regular hotel. Its staff is poorly trained and not able at all to meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel guest. There is NO outdoor swimming pool as stated... More
