Rian is perfect host. She makes everyone feel so welcome. We stayed in Harare for a wedding. Jacana gardens owners and staff made the brides start to her wedding day a relaxed tranquil affair. “Huge room and bathroom!”

My husband and I selected Jacana Gardens based upon the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. It is located in a nice neighborhood great for running or walking.The room and bathroom were huge. The shower was the largest one I have ever seen. We think it´s the Feng-Shui that makes people sleep so well, as we hear this a lot ! Its not our intention to compete with dinner prices, all our food is home cooked by an excellent cook and we are using the best meats and other fresh ingredients in town. More

“Very good leafy option outside town”

Excellent host, charming setting. I had a room in the main house which was a lil noisy during the breakfast. A taxi trip will cost between USD 15-20 depending on your negotiation skills. All rest is great!

“Good value for money in overpriced Harare”

Interaction with the lodge was great as reservations and payment is all done online. The lodge is peaceful and away from the city buzz which is ideal after a long day of meetings. Lack of credit card facilities at the venue not ideal. Breakfast menu needs some work

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jacana Lodge for a couple of nights over Christmas. The owners sorted out the airport transfer for us, which was handy as we landed in Harare late and tired. “Lovely, quiet guesthouse”

I had a very pleasant stay at Jacana Gardens Guest Lodge. Lovely, clean, spacious room and building; nice breakfast. Friendly, helpful hosts. Location is a plus if you want a quiet stay far from town. Taxi to Harare costs $15.00.
