The place is just beautiful. The reception staff were extremely polite and respectful. My colleagues stayed stayed in the royal lounge which is much nicer. The rooms were clean. The food was great, two choice of meat each meal and vegetables available. Excellent conference services at the sister company Chengeta Lodge. We had a chance to watch staff feeding the lions.... I have no problem paying for a service but I do have a problem when I am paying the same price for 2 very small children to share a room with the my wife and I - in other words paying for 4 people when 2 of them are barely half people. I can only assume they do not want... More

My friends and i stayed here on our first ever trip to Africa, let alone Zimbabwe. It was idyllic and we were so at home. I work in the hospitality industry and couldn't fault the staff there at all, they couldn't have done more to make our stay pleasant and relaxing. The activities are great, the facilities are great, the... More

Situated only an hour or so drive from Harare and beautifully set on the river. Staff were polite and very friendly....as was Geoffrey the giraffe! Arrived to find Zebra grazing on the lawn which was quite the greeting. Food was excellent, lots of activities such as horse riding, canoeing, game drives and lots of wildlife. It's hard to sum up... We stayed here in 2009 and decided to return this year. We were picked up in a new vehicle, on time (a surprise in Africa!) and had a very pleasant 60+ minute ride south out of Harare. We were greeted by staff to carry our bags and a tray of wonderful cold drinks! As we spread out to our individual... More

My nieces idylic African wedding was held here under a fig tree where the wedding vehicles were elephants - amazing! Pamuzinda's lodges are comfortable with good outdoor space. Zebra and vervet monkeys wander around the grounds and amazing birds inhabit the trees. The game drive is worth going on, our driver Dollar was a very informative guide and extended the... More

I recently stayed at this beautiful safari lodge and had an amazing time! At check-in we were greeted by Patience who acknowledged us well before we entered the lobby! She escorted us to our rooms and gave us a very knowledgeable synopsis of all the lodge's facilities! The rooms are just recently renovated and I reccomend a garden room which... More

I was fortunate enough to visit Pamuzinda and her sister lodge Chengeta in March. The place is absolutely beautiful, the activities really special and the staff; efficient, friendly and professional all at once. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the best of Africa.
