Victoria Falls Backpackers is most certainly a place I'll visit again. Usually we just treat backpackers as somewhere to crash but staying here was almost like returning home every evening (as we were always asked how our day had been) and we enjoyed our time here just as much as we did visiting the attractions. Ian and Enoch are charming... More

We stayed at Vic Falls Backpackers for 4 nights and loved every minute. Ian, the manager, was extremely helpful, giving us advice and booking our numerous activities while we were still planning our trip (months before we arrived). Everything was very well organised once we arrived. We booked a double room, which was of a usual backpacking standard and the... More

Greated by Ian, this backpackers up the hill from vic falls, is clean and comfortable and the falls can be heard in the distance . Staff are happy to book tours and make suggestions and private suite with ensuite are good option for a bit of privacy , however the gunieafowl room could have done with a shower curtains. Share... Stayed there for two nights and we felt really welcomed. The owners were super nice and really helpful. The rooms were good value, clean and had mosquito nets. The pool is beautiful and the garden in general really nice, so you can easily spend a couple of hours reading or relaxing. It is not noisy at night (unlike other hostels... More

In the evening is nice to stay there feeling in a friendly place. It's easy to find friends, talking with people from all over the world and having a very good pizza (I don't understand why they serve them all with garlic..tell them in advance if you don't like).

If you're after affordable accommodation in Vic Falls (and fancy a decent nights sleep) Vic Falls Backpackers is a good bet. The rooms are an adequate size, there's a swimming pool, pool table and kitchen area. It's a bit further out of town than the other backpackers but it's only a 15 minute walk so nothing too strenuous. If you're... More

One of the cheapest places to stay at Vic Falls but it's cheap in more ways than one. Positives: Quiet, secluded, cheap. Negatives: Rooms are open to the outside. The little mosquito nets hanging from the ceilings above the beds will not stop the critters from constantly buzzing around you and biting you in bed if your hand is up... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and were really pleased about what we recieved for the price! It seems to be a little quieter than the other hostels at Vic falls but thats what I liked about it - we had beers by the boma at night or played pool and it wasnt really rowdy. Its about a 15 minute... More

We chose Victoria Falls backpackers hesitantly, usually when we travel we stay in nothing less than a 3 star hotel, but seeing how hotels are so expensive in Victoria falls we decided to try the backpacker experience. We didnt know what to expect but were surprisely pleased with our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and though it is nothing... More

This is my second worst stay ever spread across 50+ countries. My number one worst stay was a humped out bed in a Beirut brothel. Vic Falls backpackers was a very close second. The rooms were stinky, moldy, wet and just plain rotten. The bed was ok, the fan was ok and the provided linens were ok. The stench and... More
