Friendly staff greet you at this central resort. There is a wide variety of accommodation available - Camping , bed in dorm , tents with beds , chalets with or without bathrooms etc. Our chalet was very basic: two beds , desk with chair and there was a light and electricity. It was clean and presentable and only a few... More

Easy to find, in walking distance to all the activities, but i had a very worn out mattress, a puuh from an animal on my bed one day - falling from the straw covered ceiling ?? My sister too had something dirty on her linen. Staff was friendly and helpful - but might prefer a lodge next time. Had no... More

At first when we saw the 'lodge' we booked at the VF Rest Camp & Lodges, we were disappointed to find a very basic shack. It did proof to be functional as everything worked and our stay was comfortable & safe. The pool and the retaurant are allright places to hang out and personell at the rception was very helpfull... Lovely quiet surroundings , In the night you can hear the thunder of the Victoria Falls. They have a lovely pool and the in da belly restaurant is pretty ok. I loved their ribs. Friendly staff, all in all great trip, had fun!

We initially stayed here camping as part of an overland truck tour. We were put at in the bearer part of the camp, near to the noisey bar. However there is a brilliant camping area further back into the grounds for personal camping. We stayed in the luxury tent on one night which was FANTSASTIC!. With a little outside seating... More

If it was not roasting outside, the not so hot showers would have been a bigger problem. I was in a cottage (room with 2 beds), much cooler than the tent I had booked. The 5$ difference is worth it every penny. The accomodation is a bit worn down but the service is satisfactory thanks to very nice staff at... More

My fiance and I stayed here in late Oct, 2012. The Restcamp is beautiful and spacious. Plumeria trees everywhere. Nice pool. In Da Belly Restaurant is great: good food, good drinks, average prices. My fiance and I stayed in a chalet. Very simple room, but large: 2 twin beds, a dresser, a table, chair, and broken fridge. Rooms get VERY... More

About the only positive is that it is located within walking distance of the falls. This campsite is located right beside a noisy bar/disco. In fact, there is an open gate leading from the campsite right onto the property of the bar - so don't get any ideas that this campsite is secure as anyone could wander onto the property.... More

We stayed here for three nights before we started a safari, we upgraded to a "Chalet" which was two single beds and a fridge. We hired a fan for the room as it was very got but with only one socket we had to unplug the fridge, our room was right next to the bathroom which was handy, the bathrooms... More

We rented a cottage at the vic falls rest camp, which sleeps four people. The cottage was basic, and had no shower, although it did have a bath and hot water. When we checked in the receptionist had no record of the deposit we had paid to reserve the rooms, so ensure you keep a copy of any payments with... More
