I couldn't be happier, it's for sure the most cozie hotel around mozambique ,the staff is really kind and helpfull and the rooms are fresh and really clean. Most delicious breakfast especially the fruit. the pool is perfect to relax in the end of the day and i was really impressed with the decor every detail is beautiful. thanks

We stayed recently at Villa das Arabias. Expect no sun light in the room. Some things might not work as expected and they may fix it or not. When you need something basic (toilet paper, towers...) they will help you under request, but it will take time. Swimming pool is not very appealing and regular rooms are like dungeons. However,... My little cell was down in the dungeons ! What a dreadful room. Extremely claustrophobic and the aircon did not work. I asked to be moved the next day as I didn't sleep a wink all night - unless they were able to fix the air conditioning and provide a working fridge. After a busy day working I returned to... More

I am usually not inclined to write bad reviews. I have stayed here a few times and in various rooms. i like that the hotel has personality and I can rough it with the best of them, but considering the price of the rooms, what you get and the lousy service I wouldnt stay here ever again. I am yet... More

My company SMEC book me into the Arabias for three nights in February. Following are my feedback comments on the stay: I objected to the small dark windowless room that I was initially shown and following discussions with our office I was given an executive room (Junior Suite). Comments on the room and service: Bathroom shaving mirror on the floor.... More

Stayed there 3 nights (unfortunately), and still cannot get accustomed to the fact that they have rooms in the basement with no windows, or "mini suites" with a room by the pool, but the bathroom downstairs with no windows. The worst part is probably the lackluster service: you feel as you are a bother asking for warm (not cold...) eggs... More

The bathtub is not fixed to the wall .To take the shower it is necessary to cling on each side of the bathtub. To go out paid attention not to slide you risk to bang your head against the glass wall very dangerous (room 1003).. Restaurant more 1h.30mn of waiting time to be served. This hotel is not to be... Our room was clean, and the hotel has the capacity to be a decent little place in a central location in Maputo. The rooms are definitely on the small side and not especially light, but that's not unusual for a central city hotel. Where this place really lets itself down is in its service. Staff kept us waiting anywhere between... More

There is an Arabian Nights feel to this little hotel, the strange warren of rooms in the basement - with a view from the corridor into the pool from below water level - the opulent seating around the pool itself, and from the restaurant, but the rooms are clean and spacious, well equipped, the breakfast they serve is excellent, and... I stay in Maputo on a regular basis, usually in good hotels. The office in Maputo wanted to try ' something else' for me, so they booked Villa das Arabias. I was given a room in the basement and I was shocked when I entered the room: so dark and damp, really as in a basement. I asked for another... More
