Stayed on business, and felt that all staff I encountered treated me to good service with a friendly demeanor. They have a security screening at the entrance, which I am sure gives the guests an added feeling of safety. Serena is know in Rwanda as the best hotel in the country. It's the hotel that hosts VIPs, politicians, big company executives and other type of high profile travelers. It is the best hotel in Rwanda. More costly than the other hotels for the fact that its the best! They don't compromise on quality for anything! The ambience especially the poolside is great during the evenings. Had a cocktail in one of their conference rooms and the whole experience was impressive!

This hotel does not deliver the service, you are paying for. The staff is rude and not friendly at all. For this amount of money, you expect another level of hospitality. I would never recommend this hotel in Kigali. There are far more better options than this hotel, with a much better price quality level.

Have to say, was really impressed with this hotel. And there was no doubt you're staying in the best hotel in Kigali.
