I had a very enjoyable and atmospheric stay here - the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Best food I have had in Sudan- on a great terrace with a view of the pyramids. Just don't expect Abercrombie & Kent style 'luxury' here - it is utilitarian and comfortable, and is after all in the desert.

A great spot for a weekend away from Khartoum. Basic but comfortable tented accommodation. Tasty food from a set menu. A great place for kids to burn off some energy and run about. The pyramids are spectacular at dawn and dusk and our kids loved the camel ride to the pyramids. I would recommend and will stay again.

First of all is a tentede camp. Secondly only the "rooms" are in a tent with beds, electricity , even veranda. The toilet of each tent is in a concrete building behind the tents.
