We booked Radisson Kathmandu from 29.05.13 to 30.05.13 and again on 02.06.13. But after staying for one day at Radisson, we had to cancel our booking from there and move to a better hotel. Rooms are very small, not very tidy...linens were also smelly. We ordered dinner in our room for our 5 yr son at 8.30 pm and were... More

I stayed as part of a group tour, it certainly was nice to come back to the Western comforts of the Radisson at the end of a Kathmandu day and after our trek. The pool and rooms were nice. Service was good. The buffets were great. Pool bar very overpriced and slow service. By Nepal standards this is deluxe but... More

A friend and I stayed at The Radisson Hotel at the begining and the end of our Nepali Trek. We walked the Annapuna Circuit and had 21 nights in a tent. Four nights at the hotel was part of our expedition and we felt we were very well received and well looked after by the staff. The rooms were certainly... More

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a group tour originating in Kathmandu. Granted that Kathmandu is rapidly slipping down the development ladder, but this hotel really could do better. The rooms are very tired and a bit on the tatty side. Overall they are not bad, but for the price charged they should be better. Generally speaking... More

The hotel tries to keep its tradition of Radisson Hotel's quality service. Conveniently located a few minutes away from the airport, it is a deep contrast to the rough, dirt roads under construction and the varied standards of facilities outside its compound. The food is absolutely wonderful; buffets overflowing with choices and allowing one a taste for Nepalese culture. Rooms... More

Small rooms- with chipped wooden floor Inefficient staffs And a major security risk if you are with Family. On 19/5 night- there was 6-7 drunk person was shouting in front of my room in corridor- banging on my door. I had informed the reception- they told " security camera can help only after 4 hours to check back what happened".... More

I stayed in this hotel in April, it was well situated in such a chaotic city, relatively near the main attractions, although the streets are under construction, dirty, so any adventure by foot will be very hard. The facilities are great, the food is excellent, the breakfast is plenty and varied, considering Nepal is a very poor country. Staff was... More

My partner and I travelled through China, India & Nepal for about a month. When we finally arrived at the Radisson in Kathmandu, we were tired and hungry for some TLC. Did we get it! Customer service is superb. The property is well kept. Rooms are comfortable (pillows not so nice) and clean. There was warm water for showers at... More

This hotel is a little bit away from the Thamel district, which I guess is a positive and a negative. It's set back from the main roads so not too noisy given the surrounding chaos of Kathmandu traffic. Rooms were comfortable although hard mattress (not uncommon in Asian accommodation) and free wifi is a bonus (reasonably reliable). Rooftop pool and... More

i stayed here a few more nights than expected following a missed fight connection and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, given some TA reports. Positives included free wifi, reliable hot water, airconditioning and safe to eat vegetarian food (of course I avoided the salads). there is a World Expeditions desk at the hotel and our tour left from here....
