The room is comfortable and cozy and big enough, and we have a private balcony. The furnishings in the lobby, restaurant and hallways are beautiful. We enjoyed eating on the rooftop as well as downstairs in the garden. The menu includes Nepalese, Tibetan, Western, Chinese and Indian food.

The hotel itself is in a good location within 20 minutes walking distance of Thamel and in a very touristy area surrounded by other hotels and little gift shops. Hotel was booked as part of a group adventure holiday. It served its purpose. Staff were not overly helpful, e.g. No maps of Kathmandu. The bar closes and stops serving very early.
