We stayed at this hotel during a Travelsphere trip to India & Nepal. The resort is a 2 hour drive outside of Kathmandu, and in the foorhills of the Himalayas.
The accomodation is in the form of lodges, usually 4 to a block. The accomodation is quite basic, but the surroundings are wonderful. Hot water can be a bit hit...

Recently stayed here while on a Tour of Nepal. The views and the Gardens are superb but the hotel is filthy, especially the bathrooms, and the service is abysmal. The Staff here tried to overcharge all of our Group on our bills. They were also slow and lazy and not helpful. As I say the views are wonderful but stay...

We stayed at the Dhulikhel Mountain Resort for one night. The strong hot showers were a relief for us after a long day's hike from Nagarkot and being covered in dust and dirt. Rooms are very clean and large windows give you a great view of the mountains. You can tell a lot of care goes into this resort because...

I stayed at the Dhulikhel Mountain Resort before and after a trek into the Kathmandu Valley. The resort rooms were clean and simple and have spectacular mountain views. While the resort is near a busy road, it was quiet at night, and I slept well. The power does go out frequently, so be prepared and carry a flashlight. Fortunately, the...

This was a fairly basic hotel high up on the edge of the Himalayas. The room was quite small but adequate and the beds were comfortable. Due to its remote location hot water was available only twice a day at certain times....however, this was not a real issue as we were only here for one night. Food was quite good...

The villas of the resort are set in a beautiful garden with amazing views of the mountains. The views are just breathtaking. But that's about it. The room was a big disappointment - even though big, it looked old and with the dark carpet very worn out. The bathroom looked very old too. What was shocking was that hot water...

I have seen the Himalaya multiple times, but this sweeping view is simply the best yet. Their garden ranks a close second in terms of spectacular viewing - a burst of color at every turn. The buffet dinner was delicious. There was not one South Asian dish in sight (a nice break for someone who lives in Nepal. - and...

Stayed here as part of a tour of Nepal and while it's a great location it was the worst hotel of the whole holiday. The location is fantastic but that's it. The staff indifferent to their guests and were non-existent at breakfast. The food was of a poor quality and cold. A request for a vegetarian meal was met with...

The resort is good and the Himalayan view is spectacular especially if you have booked the rooms on the top floors. The rooms and the services are good. Though we happened to see two snakes in the room, it was a frightening sight . The food was fantastic.
I would actually recommend this resort.
