Stayed here for three nights. Tranquil and clean. Food possibly good have been better, but it was okay. But would I come again, yes. More

The staff at the Gokarna Forest Resort is outstanding. They were very accommodating in almost every in instance. The rooms and all the public areas were very clean and the food was very good with a nice mixture of local and Western dishes. There is free WiFi in the bar and nearby areas, so we made use of that benefit.... More

We spent 2 nights here - the resort is sort of far from Kathmandu so if you do come here, you should know that it will take a while to get into the city. We stayed here because we were on the tail end of our trip and wanted to relax. That's exactly what we got! The resort is really... More

Kathmandu is indescribable. Won't go in to that here, but when you are reviewing a hotel in such an area you have to make allowances. Food was good, bedrooms were nice. We stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday, and two at the end. We had different rooms and the bath in both was the strangest thing I... More

Nepal: Go and experience the country, even more the people. But be prepared for some effort to travel around, road conditions are heavy and it could be quite dusty. Especially in this case the Gokarna Forest Resort is quite the right place: relax and refresh for the next adventure! Regarding cleaness and friendliness of the staff you will hardly find... More

We had a group of 16 guys travel to Kathmandu recently on our annual golf and casino trip. We all really enjoyed the golf course and drinks at the club house. The staff (special thanks to Deepak and Yanjee!) were all very attentive to our requests and incredibly accommodating when we'd want to change tee times, etc. for the next... More

When you are in a large 5 stars hotel, all things are more official rather than to be friendly. but in Gokarna, every thing is friendly. rooms are luxuriant and bathroom is very clean with good smell. I came to Gokarna after a 10 days travelling in Nepal including rafting, trekking and local bus riding! so I need a good... More

I highly recommend staying here if you need a peaceful oasis after an intense day of sightseeing in the crazy busy overpopulated city of Kathmandu! It's only a 20 minute drive from the city (about US$15 cab fare) but it's like you are in a different world... My partner & I spent 5 nights here, and were sad to leave.... More

This is a great spot to be - it is not very far from Kathmandhu city itself however it is in a different world of its own. It is set amongst lush green forest with deers and monkeys and a wonderful golf course. Kathmandhu city itself is very busy and dusty and this is a great place to get away... More

Gokarna is a place of tranquility and hospitality. The courtyards, grounds, dining room and architecture all provide a place of peacefulness and reflects the culture of Nepal. The staff is outstanding and gracious. They will see to all of your needs and truly want your experience in their resort to be memorable and pleasant. The Spa staff is equally as... More
