Unfortunately I thought this hotel was totally overpriced for what it has to offer. I felt like we were being ripped off the whole time. My friend and I paid $50 per night. Given how small Pokhara is, it wasn't a huge deal for me to be right next to the lake. Plus, the hotel was charging $40 US for... More

This hotel is in a lovely position on the lakeside yet set back away from the road in a pretty garden. We arrived from Kathmandhu in a Landcruiser arranged and personally driven by the lovely Manager (Rajendra). The rooms were large and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. Breakfast could be taken in the garden or in the hotel's restaurant. The... More

I have nothing against the hotel amenities itself. However, considering the prices in Nepal, trying to charge 50 or even 60$ for a night is a rip off. I had originally paid 30$ when I showed up a the door in 2010 with no reservations. Thought nothing of the price as it was high season Was happy to book to... More

This hotel is right by the waterfront, in a gorgeous and quiet area of lakeside. It has a nice garden, a spacious lobby and well kept rooms. A 100 mt away is also the most popular restaurant of Lakeside, Caffe Concerto, where we had our breakfasts and dinner almost everyday. More

Owner rajendra dhakal is the dynamic force behind the delightful Hotel Glacier and it has been a pleasure to watch him work his magic on three successive visits: Oct. '09, Jan. '10, and Oct.'11. What exactly do i like about this hotel? First, its excellent location just steps away from the lake. Then, comfortable rooms with good beds, hot water,... More

We had a deluxe room (free upgrade from lovely Mr Rajendra Dhakal the owner) and it was lovely. Free fruit & water in room & rating this room on Nepal standards (not European, it's not fair) it ranks 10/10. Super service & room service. I highly recommend Hotel Glacier to people visiting Pokhara who want a bit of comfort &... More

The first time we stayed in Pokhara it was 10 dollars a night. We came back a few years later and it was 40 dollars a night. So we found the Iceland guest house which is 10 dollars a night and way better.Truthfully ,if the Glacier Hotel were still 10 dollars a night,we would still go to the Iceland guest house. Also The...
