location
right across the street from one of the few lookouts on Pewa Lake
away from the more hippy friendly venues
Lots of restaurants on the road around the lake.
ATM (that worked sometimes) not far away
Apparently SEP to NOV is the best time to be there to see the Himalayas... we saw haze most of the time.

We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour. Hotel is in a good location across from the lake, and within walking distance of good restaurants, shops and ATMs. Wi-fi is an extra cost. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Our twin room was on the ground floor in the back and was OK, but a room on...

I stayed here with my mother last week. We had a ground floor room as requested which was well furnished, beautifully clean and very quiet too. The staff were all friendly...

It was the most basic hotel we stayed in our trip from Delhi to Kathmandu. We had a ground floor room the balcony overlooked a shed -...

We (family of 5) stayed here for 2 nights immediately after our 6 day trek and were delighted to find 2 spacious, comfortable rooms awaiting us, and hot water - hurray! We appreciated the proper mattresses having spent the best part of a week with our hipbones sinking into wooden bedframes during our trek. The location, directly opposite the lake,...

This was another 'St Christopher' place for me. After a horrible day of travel to walk into this hotel is a luxury. One of the nicer places I stayed in Nepal. The breakfast is buffet and the menu changes daily. You do have to pay for the internet (hourly or daily) and the serivces depends on where your room is...

There are many good options for hotels in Pokhara so it is no need to book in in the overpriced trek-o-tel hotel that has seen its good times years ago may be. We stayed there for 2 nights and then we changed the hotel what was the best decission. Stuff is not helpful and some of them are really unfriendly....
