This is more of a budget hotel, so you can't expect superb service or very nice interior design. The room we booked was decent enough with balcony (for smoking) and nice beds. One plus point of the hotel is that it is located in the central of Taipei: Ximengding and within walking distance to Taipei Main Station so tourists are... More

Decided upon this hotel as the one we usually goes to is fully booked. We chose this location mainly because of the location. It is in the heart of XiMenDing. A good location if you love to eat and shop - well basically the main purpose of going to Taiwan! Hotel lobby was on the 7th story and only had... More

On first impression, the hotel entrance looks dodgy. It is located in one of the buildings in Ximending and you have to look out for the sign overhead or you'll miss the hotel entrance altogether. The hotel is on the 7th floor, with lift, so no worries for those with heavy luggage. The room is clean with basic amenities like... More

Booked a twin-bed room a month in advanced through a travel agent. Arrived with 3 pax, given a big room, a twin-bed and a small single bed, cable TV LCD, never thought it came with balcony but the receptionist told there are many tourists accommodated more than actual pax they had paid for, and their boss had stressed the employee... The main reason we chosen the hotel was because of its location in XiMenDing, just 10-mins walking distance from the MRT. The hotel was located beside the road but you need to notice the signboard or else you will not know the hotel situated. The hotel only occupied Floor 7# and 8# of the building and the rest of the... As our flight was scheduled to land 3 hours after check-in, I emailed the hotel to request airport transfer. However, we were left stranded at the airport due to an oversight. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I phoned the hotel and a Miss Chia (Cai Xiao Jie) picked up. She was very apologetic & gave us clear instructions on... More

I stayed here in October 2012. We wanted a hotel near Ximending since that was where most of the shopping and eating places were at. It's about 5 mins walk from Ximending station, so the location is pretty good for the price we paid. The hotel is pretty basic, interiors are oldish albeit clean. They do provide toiletries and there's... More

Had stayed there before and it was it simple no frills hotel. On my recent trip to Taiwan, I had booked a room 4 months in advance. I t was not a prepaid room as I usually email them for a reservation (most hotels in Ximending areas accept this mode of booking). When I went there, I was informed by... More

Outlook - tired with musty atmosphere. It's on the 7th floor of the building and occupies probably a few floors. Location: convenient location, a few minutes walk to Ximenting and the mrt station. As mentioned by the other reviewers, many convenient shops/store nearby, and even cinemas. Rooms: Basic amenities in the room and toilets are provided, hence, a plus point.... More
