We just spent one night in the hotel on our way from Chiang Mai to Cambodia. The room was very basic and hasn't seen a refurbishment for a while. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very unfriendly and not very cooperative. A waiting taxi driver in the lobby finally helped us finding our next transport. Wifi is not free... More

The hotel is nice and quiet, and located in Silom, near the river with its cheap and frequent river taxis, and within walking distance of Patpong night market. The room was clean and neat, if a little sparse. The best things about the place were walking into the airconditioned lobby, and the large pool surrounded by palms and potted plants.... More

It wasn't bad, it wasn't bad, it was just another mediocre hotel. If it's your last option: go for it, but if the have the possibility: find something better. The rooms were clean, but very small, the breakfast was so so and the hotel is not located in a very appealing area. However, the staff was friendly.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in January for a work conference (didn't want to stay at the conference hotel). For $50 a night, you get what you pay for, and this is not a bad thing. The rooms are very simple, but clean. There is no tub in bathroom, but it's very clean, and hot water is... More

We appreciated to stay at this place. The swimming was large enough to swim. The breakfeast was good Bed were also good. Rooms are clean but the decoration is quite old fashion. Hotel was quiet With my wife we appreciated it. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the wifi !

I have seen some of the poor reviews but really, what do you expect for $40 per night including breakfast- either buffet or cooked to order? The place is clean, staff helpful, the little restaurant does a great Pad Thai and keeps the beer nice and cold. The pool is excellent and the A/C works well and is very quiet. It's... More

Scammed into booking this hotel by local travel agent, this should not even be called a hotel. On arrival was told hot water is only available for a few hours each day and would not be ready until the next morning. Decided to go out and asked reception to call for a shuttle we had already arranged. He did it... More

We will not stay at this hotel anymore. The room is clean but terrible. The only window in our room is facing other people room, we can't open the curtain. The price is overrated since we were conned by the travel agency at the airport who seems to sell us the room price for one night at 2300 Baht. Although... More

Had first stayed in the Swan 25 yrs. ago and was surprised to still find it alive. Re-modeled to typical Thai style mid-class hotel. Staff was ok., if not very warm. Rooms rather large, pool also large enough for good swim after a hot day of sight-seeing. Price around 1000 Baht with soem bargaining, I prefer 2 beds to lay... More
